Adding and Editing Media Sequence in Digital Signage

Guide to editing the media component for displaying rotating images and videos

Step 1: Logging into the editor

Go to the editor site at: https://editor.gomixapp.co.il

• Enter your username and password and click Log in.

Step 2: Selecting the application (if needed)

• If you have a single application: you will be taken directly to the next screen.

• If you have multiple applications: first choose the application (screen) where you want to update the images.

Step 3: Opening the “Content” tab (important!)

To access the editor, make sure you are in the right place:

• In the top menu of the application, click the “Content” tab.

• The various management cards will now appear. Locate the “Images and Videos” card (usually in the center of the screen) and click “Edit content” on it.

Step 4: Getting to know the “Media Sequence” screen

A window opens showing the list of all images and videos currently running on the screen.

• To add new content, click the black “+ Add item” button in the top-left corner.

Step 5: Managing and arranging items in the list

Each row in the list has quick management tools on the right side:

• Delete: click the red trash can icon to remove an item.
• Reorder: want to change the position? Drag the three-lines icon up or down.
• Edit: click the pencil icon to open the item settings.
• Duplicate: click the two-pages icon to duplicate an existing item.

Step 6: Replacing an image and setting display time

Inside the edit window (after clicking the pencil):

• Click “Change file” to upload a new image or video from your computer.
• Under “Duration for this item”, set how many seconds the item will be shown on screen (default: 10 seconds).

Step 7: Scheduling messages (optional – advanced)

Want the image to appear only during specific hours or on specific dates?

• On the left side of the window, under the heading “Schedules”, click the plus (+) button.
• In the window that opens, check “Hide” (if you want to hide during certain hours) or define an exact date and time range (start and end) for displaying the item, and click “Save”.

Step 8: Save and finish

• Finished editing a single item? Click “Done” (black button at the bottom of the window).
• On the main list screen, click “Close”.
• Finishing the process: back on the “Content” screen? Click Publish to push the updates to the screen, or Save as draft to save as a draft.
